Studio Sopranos is a unique ensemble that can move seamlessly from intimate to aggressive. This choir can serve as a backdrop to orchestrations or as a leader in the mix. The studio features three talented soprano singers, recorded with three sets of microphones. This ensures not only high sound quality, but also flexibility in controlling the size, positioning and character of the choir.

The updated version of Studio Sopranos features a completely new graphical interface and a variety of tools to help you create a unique sound. Included is a vast collection of dynamic articulations, polyphonic multi-phrase legato, true legato and a variety of controllable X/Y effects to change the sound.

Studio Sopranos uses the beautiful polyphonic phrase legato from our latest choirs, offering incredibly realistic legato phrasing on each syllable and allowing you to smoothly switch between phrases mid-sentence.

Studio Sopranos’ dynamic arcs provide an endless number of inspiring pads and editing tools. There are nine different arc variations that can be used on their own or as auxiliary voices for the Multi Vowels and True Legato patches.

True Legato in Studio Sopranos is represented by a magnificent collection of deeply sampled voices. The velocity control allows you to radically change the timbre of the voice during these transitions.

Arcs in Studio Sopranos contain not only true legato and polyphonic phrase legato, but also a huge selection of emotional arcs. These natural dynamics provide a truly realistic performance.

Each mic mix features three singers in the soprano section. Using one mic gives you an incredibly detailed three-person choir that you can individually process and move around the room. Using all three mics allows you to control the overall depth, size and character of your soprano section.
