Audio management is the art of regulating and controlling sound vibrations. Often the goal is to increase volume by changing the dynamics of the sound in the most natural way. In the past, this was achieved using an electrical circuit that followed changes in the audio signal level and adjusted the gain to smooth out peaks and boost low frequencies. These techniques were then transferred to the digital domain, and since then, many different variations and approaches have emerged.
LimitOne is a unique tool that stands out from the rest. Our goal was not to replace existing tools, but to create something new and unique. We wanted to develop an approach that would achieve results that were previously impossible.
We were inspired by two-stage limiters and multi-band compressors, and also paid attention to the problems that arise with some processing methods. We wanted to create a tool that would be easy to use and would not have the shortcomings of existing tools.
