We are pleased to present Chalumeau, our new Book Series product with True Legato articulation and a unique warm folk sound. The chalumeau is a single-reed woodwind instrument dating back to the Middle Ages, Baroque and early Classical periods. It is considered the predecessor of the modern clarinet. The instrument we used was handcrafted by the great flute maker and master flutemaker Max Bruemmerg from cherry wood. We sampled legato vibrato, staccato and over 50 phrases.

Recording
The library was recorded at Rocchi Studios in Rome using high-end microphones in collaboration with the St. Louis College of Music.
This library provides two microphone positions: Close and Room.
Close/Room Mix
The library also provides all the precise sampling methods such as cyclic sampling, dynamic modulation wheel and vertical layering.
Book Series
The Book Series is a new series of traditional instruments with high textures. The Book Series is reviewed with a thoughtful user interface designed for easy sound control. The engine features 18 creative layers built using raw elements and core synths, over 20 spatial impulse responses and formant controls.
